Linkin Park is an American rock band that was formed in 1996 in Agoura Hills, California. The band consists of vocalist Chester Bennington, drummer Rob Bourdon, guitarist Brad Delson, bassist Dave "Phoenix" Farrell, DJ Joe Hahn, and keyboardist/guitarist Mike Shinoda.

Linkin Park is known for its unique blend of alternative rock, hip-hop, and electronic music, and has been credited with popularizing the nu-metal genre in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The band has released seven studio albums and has sold over 100 million records worldwide, making it one of the best-selling music artists of all time.

Some of Linkin Park's most popular songs include "In the End," "Numb," "Crawling," "Breaking the Habit," and "What I've Done." The band has won numerous awards and accolades, including two Grammy Awards, and has been recognized as one of the most influential and innovative bands of the past two decades.

Sadly, the lead vocalist Chester Bennington passed away on July 20, 2017. Despite the loss, Linkin Park continues to tour and perform, and has released several new albums and songs in the years following Bennington's death.
